An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Membership Officer or Membership Administrator to join a well-established Royal College based in Central London. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to members, managing key membership processes, and helping to ensure a positive member experience.

Overview
You will provide key administrative and financial support across membership and quality improvement programmes, working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing membership registrations, renewals, and related processes
Maintaining accurate membership databases, records, and documentation
Responding to member and internal enquiries, providing a high standard of customer service
Working collaboratively with colleagues across a busy professional environment
Liaising with Finance and programme teams to support the effective delivery of services
Supporting invoicing, Purchase Orders (POs), and financial administration
Organising meetings and providing minute-taking support
Preparing spreadsheets, reports, and other administrative documentation
Supporting conferences, events, and wider organisational projects
We're looking for someone with:
Experience within a membership organisation, professional body, Royal College, healthcare environment, or similarly complex organisation, together with experience organising meetings and taking minutes
Previous administrative or membership experience
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional, approachable and service-focused manner
Confidence working independently and using initiative
Experience with financial administration, invoices, or purchase orders (POs)
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
