We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established national organisation looking for a Receptionist and Office Administrator to join their team on a 12-month contract.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, support internal teams with a range of administrative tasks, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a professional head office environment.

The Role
As the face of the business and reporting to their Executive Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors while providing essential administrative support across multiple departments.
Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming visitors and acting as the first point of contact
Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
Coordinating meeting rooms, refreshments and visitor arrangements
Supporting the handling of incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
Maintaining office supplies and coordinating orders when required
Providing general administrative support including scanning, printing, filing and document preparation
Assisting with office facilities and ensuring communal areas remain organised and professional
Supporting internal teams with ad hoc administration and coordination tasks
Liaising with external suppliers and service providers where necessary About You
We're looking for someone who is personable, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience within a reception, front-of-house, office administration or customer service role; giving exposure to someone who is aspiring to grow their career within Business Support PA, EA, Office Management career
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A professional and friendly telephone manner
Strong organisational and time management skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently when required
A proactive approach and willingness to help wherever needed
