Are you an experienced Pastoral Support Worker with a passion for helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential?
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to work within the Portsmouth area.
We work closely with schools across Portsmouth that are seeking skilled and supportive individuals to provide pastoral care, emotional support, and behavioural guidance to pupils who may be facing social, emotional, or mental health challenges.
Experienced Pastoral Support Workers are encouraged to apply, as well as candidates looking to develop their career within education, pastoral care, youth work, or SEND support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of young people.
Useful Qualifications (Desirable but not a requirement)
Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Award/Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
Qualifications in Youth Work, Counselling Skills, Mental Health Awareness, or Child DevelopmentEligibility
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional, child-related referencesOther
