We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our clients team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations
Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements
Proficiency in operating CNC lathe machines
Knowledge of CAD software for reading engineering drawings
Ability to use hand tools effectively
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues
Experience with materials handling and toolingExperience in programming Doosan 220LSY, 220, 2100L with bar feeders or other similar multi axes machines advantageous.
Skills
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
Ability to assemble and handle materials effectively
Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations
Familiarity with CAD software for reading technical drawings
Knowledge of Fanuc software
Competence in using hand tools for adjustments and maintenance
Experience with milling processes is advantageous Working Hours
Mon-Thu 08:00-17:00 - Fri 08:00-13:00
39 Hours per week.Additional Info
Company contributory pension scheme.
Holiday entitlement: 20 days in the first year followed by 25 days after 2 years' service.
