Key Responsibilities
Mask, prepare, seal and paint a variety of metal products within paint spray booths using appropriate PPE.
Fit warranty tags to completed products.
Ensure all products are painted to the correct specification and quality standards.
Manage workload effectively to ensure production schedules are achieved.
Identify and help resolve any unclear or inadequate manufacturing information.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and quality standards throughout the production area.
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Adhere to all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental procedures and policies.
Work professionally and collaboratively with colleagues across the production team.
Support business requirements by working additional or unsociable hours when required during peak demand periods.Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Proven experience preparing, spraying and painting metal products within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working alongside production and operations teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Good communication skills.
Manual handling experience.
Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime when required.
Experience painting electrical industrial equipment.
Experience using pressure pot and compressor spray systems.
FLT (Forklift Truck) licence.
Overhead Crane licence.
Experience working within a continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environment.Additional Details:
