We are currently looking for a Paint Sprayer / Shot Blaster to join our client'steam within a busy fabrication and manufacturing engineering environment in Barnsley.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in industrial painting, paint preparation, shotblasting or surface treatment.
Rate of pay is £16.48 per hour.
THE ROLE
Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the complete surface preparation and finishing process, including:
Shotblasting a range of fabricated products
Cleaning and preparing fabrications following shotblasting
Masking and preparing components ready for painting
Industrial paint spraying
Demasking and checking finished products
Applying mastic and carrying out finishing work
Preparing completed products for dispatch
Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness and safety throughout the process
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience within a spraying, preparation, shotblasting, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Experience of industrial paint spraying or shotblasting would be advantageous, but training can be provided for the right person.
You should be:
Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Able to follow instructions and work to required quality standards
Practical and hands-on in your approach
Safety-conscious
Willing to learn and develop new skills

37 hours per week
