Spurr Fabrications Ltd is an established Steel Fabrication Company based in Ossett, West Yorkshire. We specialise in fabrication , laser cutting , punching and Pressing.
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabricator Welder who is capable of working to a high standard both individually and as a team member.
You will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of steel components and assemblies, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
The role will include:

MIG Welding mild steel.

Fabricating components and assemblies from engineering drawings.

Checking your own work to ensure it meets drawing and quality requirements

Using a wide range of workshop fabrication equipment and machinery.

Working alongside our CNC laser cutting , punching and press brake operations.

maintaining a clean , safe and organised working area.
The Person:
We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You should be able to :

Read and understand engineering / fabrication drawings

Accurately measure and fabricate Components

MIG weld mild steel to a good standard

Take a job from drawing through to completion with minimal supervision.

Organise and prioritise your own workload.

Identify and resolve straightforward fabrication issues yourself.

Produce consistently good quality work.

Work efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
Working hours & Holidays:
-
4 day working week.
-
Mon-Thu : 06:00am - 16:30pm.
-
Two 30 minute breaks - One paid and one unpaid.
-
200 hours annual holiday entitlement plus statutory holidays.
