CNC Miller, Aerospace, £30,000 to £36,000, Four Day Week
CNC Miller wanted for an aerospace manufacturer, predominantly a turning company, adding milling capability to a varied workload. Four day week, Monday to Thursday, 0645 to 1630.
This isn't a standard milling shop role. Work is varied, including bolts and Tufnol sheet cutting alongside more typical milled parts. You'll need to be flexible and comfortable switching between different jobs rather than running the same part day after day.
You'll set, run and program CNC mills including HAAS with Fanuc controls and Bridgeport with Heidenhain controls, across 3 and 4 axis. Experience on fixed and sliding head turning machines is desirable, though not essential.
Working to aerospace standards, so attention to detail and strong measurement skills matter more than anything else.
Salary £30,000 to £36,000 depending on experience. Pension, health cash plan, life assurance and EAP included, plus an extra four fixed days at Christmas on top of your annual leave.
