We're recruiting on behalf of an established and growing building services contractor based in Canterbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll play a key role in securing a wide range of commercial electrical projects.

The Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll manage the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission and project handover, ensuring competitive and accurate bids are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities

Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications

Produce accurate electrical estimates using Ensign estimating software

Prepare material, equipment and subcontractor enquiries

Raise RFIs where clarification is required

Review supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value

Prepare competitive tender submissions

Attend pre-tender, mid-tender and post-tender meetings

Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

Support project handovers with the Contracts Team following successful bids

Continuously improve estimating processes and procedures
About You
You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services or Commercial Electrical sector

A strong understanding of electrical installations and estimating principles

Experience producing successful tenders from enquiry through to submission

Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail

Strong communication and organisational skills

Experience using Ensign or similar estimating software is advantageous
