Associate / Associate Director / Technical Director - Civil Engineering
Location: London
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000+ DOE + Car Allowance + Private Medical + Excellent Benefits
Are you a Senior, Principal, Associate, Associate Director or Technical Director-level Civil Engineer looking for a new challenge?
Perhaps you're ready to take the next step in your career, or you're already operating at a senior level and looking for the opportunity to lead a team, influence projects and develop a strong client base.
I'm working with a highly successful multi-disciplinary design consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer to play a key role in the continued growth of their development infrastructure team.
The business is part of a well-established wider group, giving them the financial strength, resources and project opportunities of a large organisation, while each individual business retains its own identity and culture.
The Role
You'll work across a varied portfolio of development infrastructure projects, covering sectors including:
Residential
Commercial
Higher Education
Mixed-use developments
You'll have the opportunity to take a leading role in the design, delivery and management of development infrastructure schemes, while helping to shape the direction and growth of the civil engineering team.
Strong experience in drainage and estate roads design for developments is essential. Experience with Civil 3D and MicroDrainage would also be highly desirable.
The position is highly client-facing, with the opportunity to develop existing relationships and become increasingly involved in business development and winning new work.
There is already a strong pipeline of secured projects, meaning you can focus on growing the team, delivering excellent technical work and developing client relationships, rather than having to build a workload from scratch.
About You
The role could suit someone currently operating at Senior, Principal, Associate, Associate Director or Technical Director level, depending on experience.
Ideally, you will have:
Strong experience within civil engineering consultancy
A proven background in development infrastructure design
Excellent knowledge of drainage and estate roads
Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroDrainage
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Experience leading, mentoring or building teams
An interest in developing client relationships and winning work
Ideally, Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM
Salary & Benefits
£65,000 - £85,000+ DOE
Car allowance
Private Medical Insurance
25 days annual leave + buy, sell and carry-over options
Life Assurance - 4x basic salary
Scottish Widows pension - 5% employee + 5% employer contribution
Professional subscriptions - up to two relevant memberships
Season ticket loan up to £6,000
Bike purchase scheme up to £4,000
Home computer scheme up to £1,500
Learning & Development programme
Dental insurance
Mobile phone allowance where applicable
Give As You Earn charitable giving scheme
Various employee discounts and cashback
This is a genuinely flexible senior-level opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to take on greater responsibility, build a team and develop their career within a well-funded and growing consultancy.
Whether you're a Senior/Principal Engineer ready for Associate level, an Associate/AD looking for a new platform, or an experienced Technical Director seeking a fresh challenge, I'd be keen to speak with you.
