Salary: £32,304 to £35,305 ( Inclusive of sleep-ins)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our children’s home in Sudbury, Suffolk. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people by providing a safe, nurturing environment and tailored support to meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker in Sudbury, your daily duties will include:

Providing therapeutic care and emotional support to children and young people.

Acting as a positive role model to promote independence and life skills.

Organising and participating in activities such as outings, holidays, and recreational events.

Building trusting relationships to help children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Supporting children with their daily routines, including personal care and behaviour management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will need:

A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, or equivalent.

Experience working with children or young people in a residential, SEN, or mental health setting.

Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and a Full UK Driving Licence.
