We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman/woman to join our clients design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models on the latest Tekla design software. Models will be created from a variety of starting points such as fully detailed engineers drawings, architectural drawings, site surveys and or from scratch for design proposals.
Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D models to align with design intentions from the client

Connection details for internal or external sign of

Transfer site survey information into the 3D model

Liaise with clients and third party engineers on design queries

Ordering of materials from suppliers
-
Create general arrangement drawings for client approval

Produce production and site installation packages inline with our standard templates

Work with senior draughtsman on model approvals during internal checks

Liaise with production manager on fabrication queries

Liaise with installation site supervisors on installation queries
Skills
-
Experience in 3D modelling and detailing using Tekla software
-
Ability to interpret architectural or engineering drawings into detailed models.

Strong attention to detail

Good communication skills to collaborate with different departments

Knowledge in the creation of fabrication drawings

Work as part of a team as well as the ability and confidence to work solo
