We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join a well-established engineering business in Nottingham.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining controls engineering, electrical design, project delivery and technical leadership within a specialist machinery environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

Electrical and controls engineering across bespoke machinery projects

PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment
-
Electrical design and control panel development
-
Supporting machinery build, test and commissioning
-
Working closely with mechanical and project engineering teams
-
Fault finding and technical problem solving
-
Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
-
Mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers where required
-
Taking ownership of controls-related project activity
