Our client has an exciting opportunity within the food industry, for an experienced Category Buyer to join their growing team, to be responsible for the management of products and services & negotiating with the suppliers as well as maintaining positive relationships. This is a fully on-site based role.
Main duties include:

Supporting the category & procurement plans

Delivery of sales, margins and profit

Managing the end-to-end procurement process & analysing market trends

Respond to customer queries

Monitor inventory levels

Attend industry events, trade shows and supplier meetings
