COMMERICAL GAS ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair commercial gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards

Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal operation of gas equipment

Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs efficiently and effectively

Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to carry out tasks

Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems. including pipe fitting and assembly

Carry out basic carpentry work as needed for installation or maintenance purposes

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Assist in the assembly of new equipment or system components on-site

Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
Skills

Proven experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively

Strong mechanical knowledge related to gas systems and associated machinery

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required

Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs

Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for site travel or transporting equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Ability to work independently or within a team environment while maintaining high safety standards
