About the Role
We’re currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a reputable main dealership workshop based in the Worthing area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work within a modern, well-equipped service centre offering stability, manufacturer training, and genuine career progression.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out a full range of workshop duties — from routine servicing and repairs to MOT testing and diagnostics — ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately

Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards (if qualified)

Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment and software

Complete vehicle health checks and document findings

Maintain accurate service records and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures

Liaise with service advisors and workshop controllers to ensure effective workflow

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high workshop standards
About You

NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance

Valid MOT Tester Licence is preferred but not essential if willing to train

Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician or similar role in a main dealer or independent garage

Confident in diagnosing and repairing issues

Full UK Driving Licence
