THE ROLE
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality structural and non-structural repairs to accident-damaged vehicles, including aluminium body repair work.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out aluminium vehicle body repairs and welding in accordance with required repair methods.
·Repairing, replacing, aligning, and fitting vehicle body panels and components.
·Carrying out structural and non-structural repairs to accident-damaged vehicles.
·Assessing damaged panels and determining the appropriate repair or replacement methods.
·Using specialist body repair and aluminium welding equipment safely and effectively.
·Working to manufacturer repair methods and relevant industry standards.
·Working closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and other Bodyshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process.
·Completing allocated repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent workmanship and quality standards.
ABOUT YOU
This opportunity is specifically suited to an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician with proven aluminium repair experience.
You MUST hold an Aluminium Welding Certificate - Essential for the role.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a professional bodyshop or accident repair environment.
·Proven experience carrying out aluminium welding and aluminium vehicle body repairs.
·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body construction and accident repair techniques.
·Experience carrying out structural and non-structural body repairs.
·Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
·A full UK driving licence.
