Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a current forklift licence looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with a company that values its people?
Placrs client is a growing and well-established business based in Shoreham, is looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.

The Role

Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Load and unload deliveries safely.

Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently.

Move and store stock in the correct warehouse locations.

Prepare completed orders for courier collection.

Attach shipping labels and ensure orders are correctly despatched.

Use the Warehouse Management System to maintain accurate stock records.

Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and enjoys being part of a team.
You will ideally have:

A current counterbalance forklift licence – desirable.

Previous warehouse experience.

A full UK driving licence.

Good attention to detail and an accurate approach to your work.

Confidence reading delivery notes and handling stock.

Basic computer skills and the ability to use warehouse systems.

A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

Good communication skills.

The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.

The physical ability to carry out manual handling, lifting and warehouse duties.
