Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Horsham – due to the location, applicants will ideally have their own transport
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Horsham for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is looking for a long-term position with a supportive and established company.
Working as part of the warehouse team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently and customer orders are prepared accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts

Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries

Moving, locating and storing stock safely throughout the warehouse

Picking and preparing customer orders accurately

Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations

Ensuring stock is handled correctly and safely

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

Working closely with the wider warehouse team to ensure daily requirements are completed efficiently
Experience & Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential

Reach Truck Licence would be advantageous, although training can be provided

Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver or within a busy warehouse environment

Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred due to the location

Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures

Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working within a team

Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work
