Location: Rochdale
Salary: £95–£110 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Engage Education are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants for schools across Rochdale. We are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a genuine difference to pupils with additional needs.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils both academically and personally.
Your responsibilities may include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support

Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs

Helping students access personalised learning activities
-
Supporting pupils with SEMH, autism, ADHD and behavioural needs

Building positive and trusting relationships with students

Encouraging confidence, independence and resilience

Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams

Supporting individual education plans and EHCP outcomes
About You
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in:
You should be calm, patient, resilient and confident when supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential — relevant experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals will be considered.
