A Secondary SEN School in Reading is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Mental Health Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Therapists, or Mental Health Professionals.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students experiencing emotional, behavioural, or mental health challenges.
Support students in developing emotional regulation, resilience, confidence, and positive coping strategies.
Build trusting and supportive relationships with students, helping them feel safe, understood, and valued.
Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment.We're looking for a Mental Health Assistant who is:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
