As a Purchasing Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Raise, process, and track purchase orders in line with production schedules and MRP signals
Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve queries or shortages
Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing agreements, and lead times
Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and flagging shortages
Keep purchasing and material data accurate within the ERP/MRP system
Support audits by maintaining purchasing documentation and records
As a Purchasing Administrator, your experience will include:
Experience in a purchasing or procurement administration role
Confidence using ERP/MRP systems such as Insight, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or Netsuite
Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider MS Office suite
Experience within an electronics manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable
A CIPS qualification, or working towards one, would be a bonus
