This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for preparing fabricated components to a high standard through fettling, grinding and finishing, before assembling products in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products leave the factory looking their very best.
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Key Responsibilities

Fettle, grind, linish and finish laser cut and fabricated components.

Remove weld spatter, sharp edges and imperfections to achieve a high-quality finish.

Assemble fabricated components using hand and power tools.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

Carry out visual quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.

Report any defects or quality concerns to the Team Leader.

Ensure components are completed within production deadlines.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.

Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Assist other departments when required to support production.
Essential
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Experience using hand-held power tools such as grinders and sanders.

Good attention to detail.

Ability to read basic engineering drawings.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Overtime may be available depending on business requirements.
Pay: £13 -£15.00 per hour
