Your new role
As an Accounts & Corporation Tax Administrator, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of client accounts and tax-related processes. Working closely with internal teams and external clients, you will be responsible for managing documentation, supporting submissions, coordinating deadlines and maintaining high standards of compliance and organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining organised and secure records of client documents, returns and correspondence.
Managing accounts submissions and monitoring their successful processing.
Coordinating Corporation Tax payment reminders, submissions and repayments.
Providing clients with guidance on documentation requirements and key deadlines.
Communicating professionally with clients and responding to queries.
Managing incoming and outgoing professional clearance requests.
Supporting billing administration and service line documentation.
Liaising with HMRC and monitoring responses where required.
Ensuring administrative policies, procedures and compliance standards are maintained.
Providing broader administrative support including scanning, document management and record keeping. This is a busy and varied position that would suit someone who enjoys organising processes, managing deadlines and delivering exceptional administrative support within a professional office environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an organised and proactive administrator with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
You will ideally have:
Previous administrative experience with a proven track record of taking on increasing responsibility.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and other business software systems.
A positive, self-motivated and team-oriented approach.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
