The Director of Inside Sales leads a nationwide team of Regional Intake Managers, playing a pivotal role in driving revenue growth. This dynamic position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a commitment to fostering a high-performing sales culture. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales plans, monitoring team performance, and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with Operations. With a focus on quality customer service and continuous improvement, the Director oversees the intake process, implements best practices, and utilizes sales tools to track performance and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree, extensive call center and sales experience, and proven management skills, along with proficiency in Salesforce and strategic analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Intake Managers located nationwide to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for intake managers focused on lead conversion and closing techniques within the inside sales department.
Collaborate with Sales Operations to craft and issue individual Regional Intake Manager quotas, and work with the Compensation Team to ensure accurate compensation on a monthly basis.
Work collaboratively with Sales Leaders to develop strategic support of differentiators and the overall growth of revenue and margin expansion.
Learn to coach the value of our differentiators and services to new Regional Intake Managers and to ensure full understanding of The Key.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to generate leads, increase conversion rates, and maximize revenue.
Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training to ensure continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop to achieve Regional Intake Manager weekly/monthly activity metrics and improve their opportunity to conversion rates.
Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals.
Oversee the intake process, ensuring that a ll inquiries are handled promptly, professionally, and with a focus on quality customer service.
Implement best practices and standardized procedures for the intake process, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the team.
Utilize Sale s force and other sales tools to track performance, manage leads, and generate reports.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first mentality.
Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Monitor and give feedback to Operations and Sales Leadership to ensure lead classification and qualification is continuously improving, and assigning next steps through sales and nurture paths
Required Skills, Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in leu of a degree.
3+ years of call center experience required, with a strong understanding of call center operations, objection handling and best practices.
3+ years of sales experience required, preferably within the home care or healthcare industry.
2+ years of management experience required, strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high -performing sales teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Proficient in using Salesforce and other sales tools to manage leads and track performance.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Highly organized, with strong time management and problem -solving skills.
Passionate about home care and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of clients and their families.
Ability to write clear, concise communication for internal and external audiences.
Mentoring skills - ability to identify strengths and gaps, and develop strategies for continual improvement.
Knowledge of Salesforce and how to coach teams to optimize use.
Able to work across the organization with a diverse team.
Self-starter and hard worker who is at home in a fast-paced sales environment.
Ability to organize and make sense of significant quantities of lead and data flow.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel approximately up to 10% of the time
