Director Sales & Marketing Position Overview
The Director of Sales & Marketing is a cornerstone of OTR Leasing's ambition to redefine the trucking industry. You'll lead our call-center-based business development center, transforming challenges into opportunities and strategies into results.
Director of Sales & Marketing Job Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and lead a high-performing sales strategy that targets key markets and demographics, focusing on expanding OTR Leasing's customer base and increasing revenue.
Call Center: Oversee the call center's operations, implementing strategies to maximize lead conversion rates, enhance customer service, and improve overall sales efficiency while maintaining daily/weekly/monthly operational KPIs.
Team Development and Management: Build, mentor, and lead a sales team capable of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Foster a culture of success through ongoing training, performance management, and professional development opportunities.
Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement innovative sales techniques and tools to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.
Business Development: Maintain established relationships while simultaneously growing sales channels.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with OTR Leasing's long-term goals, focusing on brand positioning, market penetration, and customer engagement.
Digital Marketing Innovation: Leverage digital platforms to enhance OTR Leasing's online presence, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Market Analysis and Adaptation: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the trucking industry. Use insights to adapt marketing strategies, ensuring OTR Leasing remains a step ahead of competitors.
Brand Management: Cultivate and maintain OTR Leasing's brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistent messaging that resonates with target audiences and reinforces the company's values and market position.
Campaign Management: Oversee marketing campaigns that effectively communicate OTR Leasing's value proposition to prospective clients and stakeholders. Measure campaign performance and ROI to inform future marketing decisions.
Director of Sales & Marketing Qualifications
A dynamic leader with at least 10 years of combined experience in sales and marketing leadership, preferably in the trucking or related industries.
Proven expertise in managing call center/business development center operations with stellar results.
A strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities for growth and the agility to pivot strategies in real time.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills can inspire a team and engage with customers and stakeholders.
A track record of achieving and exceeding sales and marketing targets.
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Location: Prairie Village, KS
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 Annual Salary + Commission, subject to qualifications and experience.
