Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next interim opportunity? We are recruiting for a Temporary Assistant Accountant to join a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Basingstoke.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a collaborative finance team, supporting key accounting activities while gaining exposure to a broad range of financial reporting and control processes.
Key Responsibilitiesâś… Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processesâś… Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepaymentsâś… Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliationsâś… Support cash flow reporting and treasury administrationâś… Maintain fixed asset registers and asset accounting recordsâś… Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirementsâś… Support internal and external audit processesâś… Prepare financial statements and management reportsâś… Reconcile intercompany accounts and investigate variancesâś… Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policiesâś… Contribute to finance projects and process improvement initiatives
About Youâś” Studying towards or qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACAâś” Previous experience within a finance or accounting environmentâś” Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systemsâś” Excellent analytical skills and attention to detailâś” Strong communication and organisational abilitiesâś” Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
