*Required:*
* Associates degree from an accredited Nursing program
* Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
* BLS certification
*Preferred:*
* ACLS Certification
* Bachelors in Nursing
*Position Summary:*
The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient/family centered care.
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with suturing and wound care procedures
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients
- Assist with airway management and respiratory support as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and their families on post-discharge care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.48 - $38.00 per hour
