Refuse Collector – Temp to Perm
Location: Coalville
Salary: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.05 per hour after 12 weeks
Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday, starting at 6:00am until finish
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Refuse Collectors to join a busy team in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a long-term role, with the possibility of becoming permanent following a successful temporary period.
The Role:
As a Refuse Collector, your main responsibilities will include:
Collecting refuse and waste from residential and commercial areas
Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes
Loading refuse and waste into the collection vehicle
Walking long distances throughout the working day, potentially up to 10 miles per day
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Maintaining a reliable and professional approach to work
Completing all assigned collections efficiently and safelyWorking Hours and Pay:
Tuesday to Friday
Start time: 6:00am
Finish time: Until the daily work is completed
£12.71 per hour
Pay increases to £13.05 per hour after 12 weeks
You will be paid for 9 hours and 15 minutes per shift, regardless of whether the work is completed earlier
