The role of PA provides proactive, efficient administrative support to Partners and Fee Earners within the Corporate & Banking team, helping them work as effectively as possible. The successful candidate will anticipate the team's needs and take ownership of secretarial and administrative tasks, freeing up fee earners to focus on client and case work.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, format and produce reports, presentations and correspondence for the supervising Partner
Take on projects and ad hoc tasks independently, using initiative and strong organisational skills
Minute meetings, track resulting actions and follow up with attendees
Manage diaries, including arranging meetings and events
Carry out a variety of complex administrative duties for the team and wider firm
Compile and file expense and mileage claims
Keep the team updated on key tasks and deadlines
Act as first point of contact for client calls and enquiries, screening and handling where appropriate
Provide general administrative support, including printing and scanning
Work with the Business Development team to help plan and organise BD activities and events
Undertake other duties as needed, including reviewing and managing fee earner inboxes and flagging urgent items
