Warehouse Operative
Location: Maldon, Essex
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing business based in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly team in a varied warehouse role on a temporary contract with opportunities to secure a permanent position.
This role will involve a combination of warehouse duties and occasional 3.5-tonne van driving, so applicants must hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners
Load and unload deliveries, including containers, safely and efficiently
Carry out stock counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy
Assist with goods in, goods out and general warehouse organisation
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targetsWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics distribution and supply chain required
Full clean UK Driving Licence (required)
Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Good attention to detail with the ability to work accurately
Able to work independently as well as part of a teamWhat's on Offer:
