Assistant Management Accountant - Warrington
Altrad are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant based at Warrington to join finance team.
Key Deliverables:

Compilation of weekly & monthly payroll and posting of burdens

Provide month end support to the wider finance team.

Management of internal hire posting
-
Monthly recharging of costs & commercial journals
-
Project Inbox management
-
Intercompany recharges & invoicing clearing
-
Exposure to cost centre overhead reviews
-
Process and reconcile daily bank transactions.
-
Perform routine reconciliations (e.g. bank, control accounts).
-
Assist with cashflow monitoring and reporting.
-
Resolving banking queries with the relevant AP/AR stakeholders
-
Assisting in the group cash reporting process and uploading of the final month end view into Adaptive Insights
-
Assist with Monthly & Quarterly VAT returns.
-
Treasury inbox management, checking governance on newly created vendors and bank details.
-
Raising of the cash transfers for weekly & monthly payroll costs into Altrad Employment Services
-
Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
-
Balance Sheet reconciliations
-
Interco recs
-
Aged control account data reporting – AR/AP
-
Identify & contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
Key requirements / qualifications:
-
Experience in an accounts or finance support role (preferable but not essential).

Good working knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, sumifs, xlookups).

Experience with ERP systems, Business Central, desirable, not essential

Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to manage workload in a high-volume, fast paced environment.

Confident communicator with a positive, team-oriented approach.
