Accounts Assistant
Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy regional accounts team within a well‑established automotive group. This is a key role within a team of 13, supporting the smooth running of the vehicle ledger and working closely with the Sales Administration function.
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play an important part in ensuring accuracy across the vehicle ledger and supporting wider accounts activity during a period of internal restructuring.

The Accounts Assistant will support both the accounts and sales admin teams with duties including:
Processing new vehicle purchase invoices
Posting and allocating manufacturer direct debit payments
Processing vehicle warranty invoices
Reviewing vehicle control accounts to ensure timely clearance
Posting road fund licence refunds
Reconciling manufacturer statements
Carrying out additional duties associated with maintaining the vehicle ledger
Skills & Experience Required
To succeed as an Accounts Assistant, you will need:

Previous accounts experience (must be meaningful, not short‑term exposure)
Strong communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines
