Transport Administrator
Pertemps are recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a leading logistics company based in Basingstoke. This is an ongoing temporary position.
Responsibilities as a Transport Administrator:
Coordination of import shipments into
Coordination of export shipments
Coordination of collections/deliveries within UK and Europe
Export & Import document creation, validation, consolidation and distribution
Export/Import customs processes
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers ensuring that they are kept informed and always updated
Invoicing customers through business software
Requirements:
Experience working with freight forwarders is advantageous
Good understanding of haulage and shipments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Innovative and resourceful
Highly organised and able to work well under pressure
The Role:
Monday – Friday
7.30am – 4pm
£13.50 - £15.80 per hour depending on experience
