Prep Operative
Our client, a growing manufacturing company based in Norwich, are currently seeking a Prep Operative to join their team.
This is a full time position on an initial temporary basis, with the possibility of something longer term for the right candidate.
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7am – 5pm
Skills & Experience
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or metalworking environment.

Previous experience with different hand and power tools/machinery
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
-
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
-
Following Engineering drawings
-
Completing prep work for the Sheet Metal
-
Palletising Parts
-
Using tools to take burrs of sheet metal products
-
Organising equipment
-
Pressing sheet metal products into shape
-
Other basic fabrication duties
