A leading construction business based in Birmingham is looking for a professional and welcoming Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. As the face of the business, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for visitors, clients, and colleagues while supporting the wider office team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing reception enquiries
Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
Manage visitor sign-in processes and maintain front desk security procedures
Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
Support meeting room bookings and ensure spaces are prepared for visitors
Provide general administrative support to the office team
Maintain a professional and organised reception areaThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administration role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, approachable, and confident manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
