HR Support Advisor
Contract: Fixed Term (12 months, subject to a review after 6 months)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon – Thurs 11.30am – 8.00pm, Friday 12pm – 8pm)
Salary: £30,060 - £32,654 per annum
Location: Essex (Hybrid Working)
Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused HR Support Advisor to join their People Operations team on a fixed-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR administration and employee support across the organisation.
Flexible working arrangements are available, although the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office for a minimum of three days per week, with the remainder worked remotely where appropriate.
Please note: This is a fixed-term position. Any extension or conversion to a permanent role would be subject to a separate recruitment process.

The Role
Reporting into the People Operations function, you will act as a first point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes while ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
The role will involve a broad range of HR administration and coordination activities, including onboarding, employee records management, responding to HR queries, and supporting wider People Services initiatives.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a transactional HR environment and be confident working with HR systems and databases. Experience with HR software platforms would be advantageous, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high levels of accuracy.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple departments, helping to deliver an efficient, responsive, and customer-focused HR service.

Requirements

Previous experience within an HR, People, or employee support role

Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent Functional Skills qualification)
