Shot Blaster / Industrial Cleaner
Location: Hyde
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary: Dependent on Experience £13 - £15
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Shot Blaster / Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves preparing metal components through chemical cleaning, spraying, and shot blasting processes to ensure products meet quality standards before moving through production.
This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operating shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components

Carrying out chemical cleaning and treatment processes safely and effectively

Spraying products and components in line with production requirements

Preparing surfaces for further manufacturing processes

Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met

Loading and unloading materials and components

Maintaining equipment and ensuring work areas are kept clean and organised

Following health and safety procedures at all times

Assisting with general production duties when required
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within shot blasting, industrial cleaning, spraying, manufacturing, or a similar environment is desirable

Ability to work safely with chemicals and industrial equipment

Good attention to detail and quality standards

Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties

Reliable with a strong work ethic

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and undertake training where required
