Warehouse Operative (Runner)
Location: Crawley
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse team based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities

Moving stock, products, and cages throughout the warehouse.

Transferring products to designated workstations and tables for processing.

Handling products in line with company procedures, including items weighing up to 30kg.

Supporting the efficient movement of stock and materials between departments as a Runner.

Assisting with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required.

Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues.

Preparing products for dispatch.

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Following all health and safety policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:

Have previous warehouse, production, assembly, or picking and packing experience.

Possess good attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Be able to follow instructions and established processes.
-
Have good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team.

Be reliable and punctual.
Due to the nature of this position, applicants must:

Be able to provide a full 5-year employment history with no unexplained gaps

Be willing to undergo a Basic DBS check

Successfully complete mandatory security training
