Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join the maintenance team at HMP Styal.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a secure environment, supporting skilled tradespeople and facilities teams with the upkeep and maintenance of the prison estate.
Key Responsibilities

Assist tradespeople with planned and reactive maintenance works

Move materials, equipment, and supplies around site

Carry out basic repair and maintenance tasks

Support site clean-up and waste removal activities

Load and unload deliveries
-
Maintain safe and tidy working areas

Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Assist with general site duties as required

Report any hazards or maintenance issues
Requirements
-
Previous labouring, construction, or maintenance experience preferred

Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good awareness of health and safety practices
-
Reliable and punctual approach to work
-
CSCS Card (desirable but not essential)
