Learning Support Assistant – Special Needs Secondary School

Pay: £90 – £110 per day
We are working with a welcoming and well-resourced special needs secondary school in Tiptree to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or a Russell Group graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting young people with additional needs in a specialist educational setting.

The Role
Support students with special educational needs both in and out of the classroom
Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver tailored learning activities
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Encourage students to achieve their individual learning and personal development goals
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Care Worker, or Support Worker is desirable
Graduates with a genuine interest in SEN and education are encouraged to apply
Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
