The Supply Register is proud to be working in close collaboration with West Lancashire College to recruit an experienced Catering & Hospitality Lecturer. About the Role
West Lancashire College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable lecturer to deliver both practical and classroom‑based learning within Catering & Hospitality. You will contribute to the development of course materials, assessments, and innovative teaching approaches that inspire learners and support their progression into industry.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and high‑quality teaching across Catering & Hospitality programmes
Develop course content, assessments, and learning materials
Support learners with a range of needs, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience
Manage groups effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
Contribute to continuous quality improvement within the department
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the college
Essential Requirements
A minimum Level 4 qualification in Catering, Hospitality, or a related discipline
A Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently, manage workload, and use initiative
Understanding of quality standards in teaching and learning
Desirable Requirements
Experience supporting students with SEND
Knowledge of current industry trends and practices
