Job Overview
The Machine Operative is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient production of high-qualirt products. The role directly supports business performance through safe working practices, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery in accordance wuth standard operating procedures (SOP's)

Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain efficiency and quality

Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment

Identify, report and whwere appropriate resolve faults or defects

Ensure all products meet required quality standards and specifications

Maintain accurate production and quality records

Work collaboratively to achieve production targets and deadlines

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Support continuous imptovement initiatives to increase ecciciency and reduce waste
