Production Operative
Location: Kingstone, Hereford
Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays!) 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a growing team within a specialist manufacturing environment in Kingstone, Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise daily with the Production Manager regarding workload and job allocation
Follow formulations to prepare, manufacture, and process products
Collate raw materials required for production
Complete all relevant documentation and labelling accurately
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safe working practices
Maintain high standards of quality, food safety, and product integrity
Assist in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)
Accurately complete and sign batch records
Report any production deviations or issues
Ensure production areas and equipment are clean, maintained, and calibrated
Support with process improvements and evaluate changes when required What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or food/pharma environment (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
