We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Finance & Administration Assistant to support the smooth running of our school operations across multiple sites.
This is a key support role within the school’s central team, ensuring that financial processes and administrative systems are accurate, efficient, and compliant.
Working closely with the Finance & Operations Controller, you will take responsibility for day-to-day processing and record-keeping, supporting both financial and administrative functions across the school.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will help ensure the school runs efficiently behind the scenes. Responsibilities include:
Processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs
Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
Supporting month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
Assisting with audit and inspection preparation
Managing and updating financial and administrative records
Supporting compliance and documentation requirements
Communicating with staff, parents, and external stakeholders in a professional manner
Assisting with capital expenditure tracking and administration
Ensuring all records are correctly stored and maintained
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with numbers and financial processes
Confident using (or willing to learn) Xero or similar systems
Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
Professional, reliable, and a strong communicator
Comfortable working in a busy school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
