A well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in the production of high-quality outdoor products is seeking a Factory Operative to join their production team. This is a temporary to permanent role with excellent progression and training opportunities.
The company is based in Poole and recognised for delivering durable, well-crafted products and maintaining high standards, due to continued growth, they are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to support their factory operations.
This position is working Monday to Friday, a day shift and paying £13ph.
Duties for the Successful Factory Operative
Assisting within manufacturing and assembly
Working with a variety of materials and hand tools within the factory environment
Carrying out fabrication, fettling, and finishing work to company standards
Supporting paint shop activities, including preparation and finishing of products
Reading and following production drawings and instructions
Ensuring products are manufactured accurately and efficiently
Carrying out quality checks on completed products
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines and production targetsExperience Required to be Considered for the Factory Operative Role
Previous experience within a manufacturing or factory environment essential
Experience in fabrication, fettling, or paint shop work would be highly advantageous
Good practical and hands-on skills
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
