We are recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Grantham.
This is a varied and hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of the office, transport coordination, goods movement, and operational administration. Working closely with the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in keeping processes running smoothly across the business.
This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience within manufacturing, logistics, transport, warehouse, or operations administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of their workload.
Key Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls and general office enquiries

Coordinating transport and freight bookings with external providers

Preparing delivery notes, labels, consignment paperwork, and shipping documentation

Processing goods received and maintaining accurate records

Supporting goods in/goods out administration

Maintaining organised filing systems and document control

Processing operational paperwork and internal reports

Supporting compliance procedures and monthly site inspections relating to BRC

General office administration and support for the wider operations team
What We’re Looking For

Previous administration experience within a manufacturing, logistics, transport, or operational environment

Strong organisational and communication skills

Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

A proactive and reliable approach to work

Experience with transport coordination or compliance administration would be advantageous
Working Hours
38¾ hour week
