A client of ours in the Clacton area are recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm and paying up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Purchasing Assistant role will include but are not limited to:
Managing procurement activities through ERP systems (Sage X3), including MRP functions
Issuing RFQs, reviewing supplier quotations, and processing purchase orders
Maintaining accurate procurement records and system data
Liaising with suppliers to resolve delivery, pricing, and order issues
Collaborating with internal teams to communicate order status and support operationsSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 desirable) and Microsoft Office
