Trade Compliance / Country of Origin (COO) Administrator
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business with a global supplier network, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Trade Compliance / COO Administrator to support a key business project (3-6 months)
This role will focus on compiling, validating, and documenting Country of Origin (COO) information across a large component and supplier base, helping to establish robust compliance data and processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some exposure to trade compliance, customs, tariffs, import/export administration, or supply chain administration, who enjoys detailed, structured work and is comfortable working through large volumes of information.
Key Responsibilities

Identifying and validating Country of Origin (COO) information by part number

Compiling and maintaining accurate supplier and component data

Supporting trade compliance and tariff-related data activities

Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information

Assisting with the development of robust processes and documentation

Prioritising and organising large volumes of compliance-related data
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within trade compliance, customs, import/export, supply chain, procurement, or related administration

Strong attention to detail and highly organised approach

Comfortable handling high volumes of data and administrative tasks

Good Excel and general systems skills

Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments would be advantageous
This is an excellent opportunity with the option to work 5 days a week or a 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off) if preferred. Pay £15-£17p/h depending on experience. 37 hour week.
