Assembly Operative/Injection Moulding Machine Operator
Location: Round Spinney, Northampton (NN3)
Barker Ross is recruiting for Assembly Operative and Injection Moulding Machine Operator at our client site in Round Spinney, Northampton.
We are offering part-time opportunities from Monday to Friday, with candidates expected to be flexible to work either full AM or PM shifts depending on the department.
Shift Patterns
AM Shift:
Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00
Friday: 06:00 - 13:00PM Shift:
Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00
Friday: 13:00 - 20:00Note: Candidates must be flexible.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assembly Operative:
Assemble small components at your workstation following clear instructions
Maintain quality and accuracy
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Follow health & safety proceduresInjection Moulding Machine Operator:
Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently
Perform assembly tasks and inspect parts for quality
Monitor and report any production or quality issues
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
Excellent attention to detail, good dexterity, and steady hands
Good eyesight for detailed inspection work
Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
Previous assembly or injection moulding experience is advantageous but not essential
Flexible to work across AM/PM shifts and different departments
Pay & Benefits
Assembly Operative: £13.31 per hour
Injection Moulding Operator: £14.21 per hour
